Air Canada employs over 19,000 people with sales over $4.5 billion dollars and manages a fleet of 127 aircraft.

Challenge
Confronted with a growing pilot workload in the cockpit, Air Canada under took an initiative to explore the ways in which to enhance flight deck operations.

Solution
Flight Deck Support System (FDSS). The FDSS is a software-based job aid designed for use on the flight deck by pilots. It digitally integrates all previous paper-based flight manuals, charts and route maps for quick access and review through an advanced touch screen interface and software program. Designed and built by Biographix, the FDSS is currently undergoing user acceptance trials.
