The Toronto Dominion Bank is the 6th largest financial institution in Canada. It has differentiated itself in the highly competitive financial services industry by delivering superior service through individual customer support. By the end of fiscal 1995 TD's total assets have risen to over $100 billion dollars. In fiscal 1995, their 18,000 employees helped them achieve a net income exceeding $794 million dollars.

challenge
Implement a strategy to integrate the delivery of a wide range of services and products to customers demanding a single point of with the bank.

solution
The solution was BankMate. A component of TD's strategy was the introduction of the BankMate software system. BankMate provided a "toolkit" to client representatives to support selling TD products and services. TD asked Biographix to design and implement a computer-based training program to support the introduction of BankMate. Biographix dramatically reduced the training program development time through the design of a suite of re-useable instructional software "templates." These templates have since been re-used on other TD training projects including the Bank Local Area Network (BLAN) initiative.
